Loriol-du-Comtat is a small village in the south of France, in the Vaucluse département. It lies on the river Brégoux, about 20 kilometres from Avignon.

Loriol-du-Comtat has a rich history going back to prehistoric times. In Roman times the village was an important trading place. In the Middle Ages Loriol-du-Comtat became an important centre for wine and olive oil production.

The village has a well-preserved medieval centre with narrow streets, picturesque little squares and some fine buildings, including the church of Saint-Martin, the Château de Loriol and the chapel of Saint-Pierre.

Loriol-du-Comtat is a popular tourist destination. The village is an ideal base for exploring Provence. The area offers countless opportunities for walking, cycling, horse riding and other activities.
