The village of Sablet has a rich history going back to the 10th century. It was originally founded as a Roman settlement and later grew into a medieval village. Its strategic location meant the village was often used as a defensive post against enemy attacks.

One of the highlights of Sablet is the beautiful church of Saint-Nazaire, dating back to the 12th century. Admire the impressive Romanesque architecture and the view from the bell tower. The old stone wash house, "Le Lavoir", is also worth a visit.
